The SNB would like to look back at the career of a player who marked the history of the LNB for 17 seasons, Mr Jérémy Leloup.
At the end of last season, Jérémy decided to put an end to one of the longest careers in the LNB championship.
Nearly 600 games played in France, including championships, play-offs, leaders cup and French cup.
This total does not include all the European competitions he has played in over the last two decades.
ProA, ProB, Euroleague, Eurocup or even the BCL, he has played at the highest level throughout his career, culminating in 2 international caps in 2016, during the TQO.
Jérémy also played 15 out of 17 seasons in the French top flight, for a total of 6 different clubs, including 5 seasons with JDA Dijon and 5 seasons with SIG.
As far as his honours list is concerned, here it is:
At club level:
- French Cup winner in 2009, 2015, 2018 and 2022;
- Winner of the Semaine des As in 2009;
- Winner of the Leaders Cup in 2015 and 2020;
- Winner of the Trophée du Futur in 2005 and 2007;
- Winner of the French Cadet Cup in 2005.
Personal honours :
- MVP of the Trophée du Futur in 2007;
- Pro A MVP of the Month in April 2013;
- LNB All-Star in 2013.
What strikes us most when we examine his 17 LNB seasons?
His longevity, of course, but above all his consistency. Jérémy’s work ethic and basketball skills have made him indispensable to all the teams in which he has played.
Away from the LNB, he has nonetheless treated himself to a new round of competition at home in his native Sarthe.
Now a player with JALT Le Mans Basket, he continues to enjoy his time on the court, while actively preparing for his future career as an entrepreneur.
