The “PROtect Integrity Online” project led by EU Athletes was launched on Thursday 9 February 2023 in Paris.
It will focus on the research, development, implementation and evaluation of the best ways to deliver integrity education, particularly related to the fight against match fixing and corruption in sport.
We will therefore work for two years with our European counterparts to support our athletes on the subject of sports betting through education, information and prevention.
In total, match-fixing education will be delivered by the players’ associations to at least 5,800 athletes in Europe, using a mixed face-to-face and online approach.
