SNB unemployed players camp returns

Jul 28, 2019

SNB Basketball returns for a 3rd edition from 15 to 20 September 2019 at the Hoops Factory in Aubervillers. A unique event that allows unemployed basketball players to benefit from professional structures to train. This unique initiative also allows players to participate in various workshops to help them assess their professional situation. These workshops are realized in partnership with MGS reconversion our historical partner.

For SNB's Julie CAMPASSENS, the camp allows players to keep their mind ready for professional basketball when other players start their season.

"This is the 3rd edition of the camp and over time it has become a must of the season, the unemployed players know that at this time of the season they can count on the SNB to practice. We provide them with the support that no one is able to give them at this time of the season. It's humanly so important. We make sure they're not isolated. Being a professional athlete can be sometimes complicated. We do everything possible to reduce the effects of unemployment, especially on their morale"

This year, Camp SNB returns with new features including a social action with a Parisian basketball club that will allow players to share their experience with young basketball players. The coaching staff will consist of a Jeep Elite coach and a Pro B coach both of them were running a team last year.

"Since its creation, the SNB Camp has seen a lot of players from all divisions, including Ali TRAORE, Jimmy DJIMRABAYE, Aldo CURTI, J-D BIOG, William MENSAH and many others. The SNB Camp gives them a lockerroom and friendly atmosphere, which is what unemployed players often miss most"
