The EU Athletes* General Assembly was held on Tuesday June 6 in Bologna, Italy.
On this occasion, the various players’ unions present shared best practices, drew up future collective policies, and worked on future education and training programs.
The meeting also saw the election of a new Steering Committee, of which the SNB will henceforth be a member.
Indeed, Julie Campassens will represent the union and, more broadly, the French unions for the next three years within EU Athlètes.
We’re delighted to be able to play a greater role in the European environment, and to be able to raise the profile of the players we represent in France.
Projects to come in the next few weeks, starting with the Protect Integrity project, which aims to educate our athletes about the rules relating to sports betting.
*As a reminder, EU Athlètes is Europe’s leading multi-sport federation of athletes’ and players’ associations (sports unions). It has 32 members in 15 different European countries and a wide range of sports.
More than 25,000 elite athletes are represented by its members.
