Welcome 
The SNB is a non-profit association that was created in 1988. After several years, the players have realized that it was important for them to be represented and united to face the new situation of professional sport, free movement of workers, wage inflation, defense of sporting equity.
Maurice BEYINA was elected in 2002 as President of SNB in order to put the basketball in the heart of social dialogue, His first goal was to defend the rights and make the voices of the players heard. During four years he has been involved in signing of the first ever collective bargaining agreement for professional basketball players in June 2005.
In 2006, he wanted to step back from hisrole, he was replaced by Yann BARBITCH who has been interim until the election of a new president October 26, 2008. Mohamed SY who then took over. For professional reasons he left the post of President in September 2009 and is now Aymeric JEANNEAU who is the president. He defines the priority of SNB this season :

Sign new partnerships through BASKETBALL PROMOTION.

Participation in the establishment of a European social dialogue with the help of EU Athletes.
Aymeric JEANNEAU support the sustainability of the work already done before him and above all he will renegotiate the regulatory changes regarding the number of foreign players in the championships of France Pro A and Pro B for the 2010/2011 season.
